Pointed tip blade 762V in solid tungsten carbide - 33.7 x 25.8 x 0.90mm

Almost the same design as the Martor pointed tip blade (761) but the width is 0.2mm narrower. The Sollex blade 762V is made of solid tungsten carbide. This gives a very long durability compared to the Martor 761 which is made of steel. It should be mentioned that solid tungsten carbide is a fragile material that easily cracks if not handled carefully. An alternative is to order the Sollex full ceramic coated point blade (761X) which has a robust steel core but an outer layer of tungsten carbide which gives the knife blade the flexibility of steel and the hardness of tungsten carbide. The 762V point blade was developed for a customer whose holder needed to be 0.2mm narrower than the standard 761 dimension.
