All Sollex razor blades are delivered in a partner pack. A package that is very suitable for industrial production. The razor blades lie on top of each other on two spears in a plastic package. The edges of the three-hole blades do not come into contact with the packaging. For the user, it is safe, easy to use, and you can see how many three-hole blades are left as the lid on the partner pack is made of transparent plastic.
The three-hole blades from Sollex are available in different product qualities. In our first quality, you will find 3-Hole blades that are suitable for cutting in simple materials. Already here you get really good performance and three-hole blades developed and adapted for industrial use. The three-hole blades are made in Germany from highly cromantic steel that has been hardened and perfectly grinded.
At the next levels, we have applied a coating to the edge of the three-hole blade to change the cutting properties of the razor blade. Our three-hole blades must be experienced and tested. The reason for the high performance in our three-hole blades is above all that we coat them with, among other things, titanium, ceramic and tungsten carbide. We offer 3-Hole blades where only one side is coated, but also blades where both sides are coated. Our ceramic-coated three-hole blades are FDA and EC approved, which means that they can come into contact with food.
All our three-hole blades are characterized by extreme performance and durability. An ordinary industrial blade installed in a machine that cuts plastic film usually lasts for 20 minutes. The 3-hole blades from Sollex made of solid ceramic (C) or solid tungsten carbide (V) can last for months. So the difference is huge. The solid ceramic (C) is self-sharpening. This means that the more it wears, the sharper the three-hole blade becomes. Industrial razor blades made of solid tungsten carbide (V) instead retain the original grinding extremely long. Both razor blades in solid ceramic and solid tungsten carbide give you extreme performance and durability for tough films.
