Trapezoid Utility Blades 59/61mm

Excellent utility trapezoid blades for cutting anything from plaster and roofing felt, to linoleum and lead plate. Available with various edge finishes, the 59/61mm blades provide long-lasting sharpness and keep best performance while working with harder materials. Trapezoid Utility Blades 50/52mm

The shorter trapezoid blades are multipurpose and of high quality, capable of securely and effectively cutting through a wide range of materials. The blades are 52mm long and come with a variety of edge finishes to provide long-lasting sharpness while maintaining excellent performance while dealing with harder materials. 

The short utility trapezoid blade is employed when you wish to apply a lot of power to a blade edge and secure the blade as hard as possible in your grip. Fits most utility knives in the market: OLFA, Stanley, Irwin, MIlwaukee, Bosch, Gerber etc.

Hook Utility Blades

Utility hook blades are distinctive because to its two hooked cutting edges, which provide effortless cutting of materials without snagging or jamming. The hook design enhances safety while cutting materials in small areas by minimizing the risk of the blade inadvertently cutting into underlying materials or surfaces. Hook blades are particularly effective at cutting through challenging materials, including carpet, vinyl, roofing felt, rubber, and different textiles. 

A knife with a hook blade is particularly useful when cutting roofing shingles and other roofing materials because it hooks into the material and makes a clean cut instead of just dragging across the thick roofing shingle without cutting all the way through. Which knife blade is suitable for cutting roofing felt?

We recommend Sollex Hook blade pro 10P for roofing felt. By using hook blades, you need less power and can more easily control the knife by pulling the handle instead of pressing and pulling. Sollex Hook blade pro titan 10PT is used for longer durability. Most often it is the bitumen on the hook blade edge that makes the hook blade dull rather than the hook blade becoming worn. Try to wash the hook blades for longer durability.

Snap-off Blades

Utility snap-off blades are blades typically 90-100mm long and 9 or 18mm wide for use in a special utility snap-off knife with a retract function. With a snap-off blade you can quickly snap off the dull segment of the blade and instantly be ready for the next cut with a new sharp edge. Fast and easy! We offer four product classes of snap-off blades.

18mm snap-off blades 180P made by Sollex are premium replacement utility blades for box cutters and 18mm snap-off knives. The German steel used to manufacture Sollex snap-off utility blades has a high chromium content. The double bevel cutting edge of PRO utility blades makes them incredibly durable while enabling exceptionally fine cuts. Our customers have noted that Sollex utility blades stay sharp for several times longer than those made by other manufacturers, despite the fact that they are meant for heavy-duty use.

The titanium-coated snap-off blades 180L deliver the best performance, even when it comes to tougher materials such as rubber and molded polyurethane. If you want a longer blade, use only unsegmented blades such as the Sollex 180LUS. If you want an incredibly sharp black snap-off for heavy-duty applications, the 180S is the finest option. The sharp snap-off blade has a higher hardness (64HRc) than the ordinary version and is carefully sharpened to achieve exceptional sharpness. The 180S snap-off blade is ideal for cutting materials that demand exceptional sharpness, such as acoustic insulation, paperboard, cardboard, cork, thin, large-mesh carpet, and sheeting.
