MARTOR Secunorm 50000110 with automatic blade retraction, 17mm cut. depth

Martor Secunorm 500 has a blade that retracts into the handle with help of a spring, in order to prevent cutting injuries. The knife is robust and user friendly, and has a hard-wearing handle made from aluminum. Suits both left- and right-handed.

Martor secunorm 500 cuts perfectly plastic strapping band, tape, cardboard and plastic film. Plastic strapping around goods is preferably cut at a 45 degree angle. For film around pallets start high up and cut downwards. Use your free hand to keep the film stretched. Martor secunorm 500 cuts cardboard boxes so insert the knife and you can release the grip. Then the blade will slip back in when you stop cutting. Very good for cutting out a window in cardboard if you want to be able to look inside cardboard boxes thanks to the knife's short cutting depth of 17mm. 

There is also a variant of the Martor Secunorm 500 - 50000210 - with a shorter blade reach and therefore cutting depth.

The safety knife has a spring that retracts the blade and protects the user. Be careful when using the knife. Do not hold your hand in the cutting direction and never cut against your body. 

When changing blades, move the blade only on the back side to protect your fingers from cuts. Changing blades on the Martor secunorm 500 is easy. You press the open button and pull out the back piece. Magnet to hold the blade in place when changing blades.
