Drag knife type Z46 with 45°/30° pointed tip

The drag knife, similar to the Z46, has the same dimensions, 20 mm cutting depth, but has a tip that is more pointed to make it easier to penetrate and cut harder materials ((see attached drawing)). 

This knife has been designed for a customer who manufactures display stands, exhibition boards, displays and other products for advertising and exhibitions from corrugated wood and wood-based cell board which is tough and difficult to cut.

Because the knife has a sharper point at 45 degrees and then at 30 degrees, compared to the Z46 knife which has a point angle of only 45 degrees, this has improved the penetration of the knife into hard corrugated material.

However, the sharper knife can be used when cutting at a lower speed to avoid damaging the knife.
