Swann Morton scalpel blades that does not fit handles from China
We have recently noticed that customers like folding knives for scalpel. The advantage of a hobby knife for precision and fine work is that it can easily be taken in your pocket. So a perfect precision knife for stencils, decor, foiling or signs that you always have with you.
When Martor stopped making folding knives for scalpels for safety reasons, Sollex stopped selling them. We simply think that the risk is too great to injure yourself when the folding knife is opened and closed. But there are scalpel folding knives to order online. Unfortunately, the dimensions of the part that holds the scalpel blade do not match.
The bracket differs by 0.2 mm in width on the narrowest part. This sounds like a minimal difference but it does mean that the Swann-Morton scalpel blade does not fit the folding knife. We choose to sell Swann-Morton's scalpel and marking knives as we find them to be of high quality and are standard for all scalpel manufactured globally. To be safe buy and use only Swann-Morton's scalpel and scalpel handel.
